A researcher at the Health and Safety Laboratory in Great Britain, developed a vomiting robot, named Vomiting Larry, to help study how the Norovirus can spread from bodily fluids.
The simulated vomit carries UV sensitive fluid that glows under UV light. The UV lights show splashes from the UV fluid that were missed during the simulated clean-up - splashes that would carry infectious material in real life.
This is a perfect example of how easily - and how far - any contagion can spread. This is definitely worth watching.
